Hello! I am an award winning creative leader with over two decades of experience crafting interesting brand stories and designing impactful digital experiences.  I have been an Information Architect, User Experience Leader, Interaction Designer, Experience Designer, ACD, CD, GECD, EVP and CCO.  My goal is always to create brand experiences that drive positive change in the world and ideally make it a better and more human place. 

As a person I am curious, authentic and kind. I try my best to be fully present in all situations.  As a leader I am brave, loyal and understand my mission is to clear the path forward for teams of designers, copywriters and strategists to do the best work of their careers.  I demand diversity and my favorite client ever is a woman who walked out of a creative review because she was the only female in the room.  

20+ years of experience

Most recently I was at Hero Digital leading a brilliant creative team, working with the C suite to define and drive the strategic direction of the agency and winning lots of juicy new business.  I spent the bulk of my career at R/GA and feel lucky to be a key player in defining the future of Experience Design for R/GA and for the industry overall. At R/GA, I learned the power of being a brave thinker, the importance of staying on top of technology and the value of being a hybrid creative.  I successfully launched many digital products, services, websites, in-store digital experiences, campaigns, activations, films and one vending machine.   

Two other interesting stops I made were at Time Inc. Interactive and Razorfish, collaborating with editors at Time and Conde Nast to transform their magazine experience into an ad-sales driving compelling digital experience. At Conde Nast I witnessed first hand Anna Wintour’s power when she walks into a room and still channel that energy today.

Awards
My work has received many awards over the past years including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio Awards, One Show, and Webby awards. The ones that I am most proud of are; Fast Company World Changing Idea Award and Effie Award winner for Planned Parenthood Roo and Cannes Gold Lion for Product Design Interface, Cannes Silver Lion for Innovation in Sports and Grand Clio for Innovation in Sports for Equinox.

Other things
I am an Advisory Board Member for the Ithaca College Customer Experience Program, never made the 40 under 40 BUT did make Adweek’s Creative 100 for 2022 highlighting Agency Leaders Reshaping the Industry and of all the panels I have been on my most memorable was in Cannes talking about how LGBTQ+ stories can change perspectives. I love being on juries and and the AICP Next Awards are my favorite as this is the work that is showing the way forward. We all need to keep moving forward and do our best to have a positive impact on the world.
